What Material and quality should we use in die casting?
General material analysis is described as below:
Zinc alloy: Best for metals easy to die cast, economical for small parts, those easy for coating, strong in pressure resisting, high in plasticity, and long in usage.
Aluminum alloy: great for goods light in weight, complicated in production, thin-wall ones, required of stable sizes, high in corrosion resistance, strong in weather resistance, great in mechanical property, high in thermal conductivity, great in high temperature resistance.
Magnesium alloy: Easy for machining, high in strength to weight ratio, the lightest material for die casting.
Cooper alloy: High in hardness, strong in corrosion resistance, the best one in mechanical properties, wear resistant, strength close to that of steel.
Lead and Tin Alloy: High density, precise in size, great for parts of corrosion resistance; not recommended for food processing or storage for public health consideration.
